    • My first mitsubishi

I love my outlander, we switched from a 2020 chevy trax to our brand new 2022 mitsubishi outlander and we haven't looked back since! We were drawn in by the size, considering we have 3 children. Therefore the third row seating is a huge plus, especially because we currently have 3 high back booster seats needed at the moment. Although people complain about the leg room in back seats, it is perfect in the 3rd row for my son in a booster seat (age 7) & also for my 2 daughters in carseats in the middle row (ages 3 & 5). This vehicle is such smooth driving in the city & on the highway! Only issue we have ran into with the vehicle thus far is the rattling/moving hood while on highways. And also the trunk storage space isn't that great if 3rd row seating is in use, which is a given having a third row. This car is like a space shuttle, with all the high-tech features, such as the huge touchscreen monitor on the dash, all the camera assists, drive modes, mi-pilot assist, blind spot detection and even just the way you switch it from park to drive/reverse. My wife is a small person yet the drivers seat accommodates her just as well as it does myself, because of all the ways it adjusts, which is another huge pro. Mitsubishi made the interior very classy and clean, & the exterior looks amazing as well, especially with the word 'outlander' written above the grill/ frontof hood. They also have a mitsubishi app where you can do anything from starting your car or locating your vehicle regardless of the situation All in all the inside and outside style is 10/10 in my opinion. I would purchase another one tomorrow if i could, and will definitely be sticking with Mitsubishi, because of all the safety features they equipped their vehicles with & also because of the 10 year or 100,000 mile warranty you get with the vehicle. The price for this vehicle was also pretty reasonable considering all it is capable of.
    • One great car with one very annoying problem

I have a new, just out of the showroom, 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander ES AWC. It's a great car in a lot of areas just as your own KBB reviewer stated in his extensive review. I agree with everything he pointed out about this newly redesigned car from Mitsubishi. But, as an owner, I came across one really concerning problem right after I took possession. With highway speeds the front hood violently lifts and flexes from the wind. When it first happened I thought the hood wasn't closed properly. I pulled off the highway to check it out but it was tightly closed. It really felt like the hood was going to fly up while I was driving. I guess that's not going to happen because this 'newly redesigned' vehicle must have been wind tunnel tested, right? I don't know what the problem is, but I do know it's mighty distracting driving down the road watching the hood of your car jumping up and down. I've been in touch with Mitsubishi and they are 'working on a fix'. If you don't drive at highway speeds and you live where the wind never exceeds 15 miles per hour you'll be in love with this car. As for me, I live in a windy area and drive the 75 mph interstate every time I leave the house. I'll be in a love/hate relationship with my Mitsu until a recall comes through.

Yes, 3rd row small, not going to complain as same size before and after I bought it. Engine is fine again, if I wanted more power I would not have bought it. Not sure why complain after. Style, quality, tech and value are why I bought it. Feels like Q5 Audi but less power
